Fundraising

£1900 may seem a lot of money to raise, but whilst researching this website, one of us found that the cost of going to the WSJ in Canada in 1983 was £1000.  This was a vast amount of money back then - far harder to raise than £1900 is now.  Also, some counties are intending to charge their Unit members £2500 each.  Perhaps they are having a motorcade of stretch limos to take them to the airport.

Anyway, how can we help you with fundraising?  Well, as our fundraising gathers speed, we will be spreading good ideas and best practice on these pages.

Keelan Tootell raised well over £660 sponsorship for completing the Cotswold Marathon in February, after putting himself through the gruelling and exhausting 36 mile overnight hike around the Cotswold Hills.

Ryan Keyte and Vanessa Trippick ran a game stall at their local village fair and raised big money with a cut-out cow!

Ollie, Keelan, Ryan and Vanessa have all done really well, but they are just the tip of the iceberg.  Check out the news
