Ollie gets his hair lopped off!

One unit member, Ollie Mosely, went to extreme lengths – well, from extreme lengths - to start his Jamboree fundraising. Having grown his hair for over three years, on Friday 11^th December 2009 at Cheltenham Bournside School, his mum came in to cut it with scissors and a shaver. As Ollie says “I had organised it to be in the Lecture Theatre and people came in to watch but I charged them 50p entry fee or if they had sponsored me they came in for free. Two of my best friends had a cut at it with the scissors.” Having lost such a warm barnet, it was so cold afterwards that Ollie quickly put on his beanie hat and kept it on all lunch and 5^th lesson! But braving this cold was worth it – Ollie raised a grand total of £672.63! Well done!
